The pockets feel like they’re supposed to be there, rather than an after thought as in some other shorts. It is rather pleasant to have the knot stay tight and the shorts remain where you want them. I like these shorts pretty well. They are thick enough that what you have under them isn’t outlined and you don’t feel the breeze. The draw-string, although smooth, stays tied. When I run in them, the internal seams are smooth enough that they don’t hang up on my knee.
